Pediatric eye exams are so important to ensure that their eyes are developing normally. Did you know that 80% of learning occurs through vision? 1 in 4 school-aged children have an undiagnosed vision problem that is interfering with learning.
School vision screenings are not the same as a full, comprehensive eye exam! Vision is so much more than just the ability to see 20/20.
Pediatric Eye Exam Schedule:
1st exam between 6-12 months of age
2nd exam at 3 years old
3rd exam at 5 years old
Every year after that while in school
It’s never too late to get a child their first eye exam! Even if your child has passed a school vision screening, it is still highly recommended to schedule a comprehensive eye exam.
